The iconic Equitable Building hired Annette to create a landscape that would provide a creative solution and avoid a major construction project. Over the history of the building, the fountains that surrounded the front of the building had gone into disrepair. Annette was hired to transition the existing fountain structure into garden beds.

To transition the structure, Annette carefully installed drainage throughout to ensure the health of the plants.

While designing the garden, Annette was inspired to create a place for people working in the office building to enjoy their lunch or just coming and going. For this reason sitting areas were created throughout with thoughtfully placed annual containers.
