Take a tour of this commercial garden at the entrance of the iconic Equitable Building, where a fountain in need of repair was upcycled into a beautiful community gathering place.

The Equitable Building hired Annette to transition a fountain area into a garden.
Annette was inspired to create a green space for the those working in the building to enjoy while overlooking Busch Stadium.

The walkway was defined with tall grasses and boxwood shrubs to soften the hard edges and provide much needed greenery on the block. Seating areas were defined with annual containers.
Various focal points were created throughout the design to provide more dimension and soften the square angles of the building.
Vibrant annuals provided much needed color, making the entrance of the building more attractive and welcoming.
