Before the home owner purchased this historic home, she called Annette to ask if there was any hope for the front landscape because at the time there was an ancient yew hedge hiding the front of the house.  

Annette said, “Yes, buy the house, we can make it beautiful!”    

That was the beginning of the Heitland Garden which grew from the front foundation beds to garden beds surrounding the entire property.   

The property has been on several garden tours and was recognized by the city of Webster Groves for Excellence in Landscape architecture.

The best part is the longstanding friendship with the homeowner that has also grown over the years along with the gardens!
